The house in the village of Repino, Leningrad region, fits perfectly into the landscape.
Some of the trees will pass through the canopies of the house, and the location of the retaining columns repeats the unique natural rhythm of the pine trunks, due to which the building is even more integrated into the environment.
We selected only natural materials such as stone, wood, and metal for this project. All of them will change over time so that the architecture merges even more with the natural environment.
The functional program of the house consists of a living room, a kitchen, bedrooms, and bathrooms for homeowners and guests, two children's rooms, a dressing room, a SPA with a swimming pool, a hammam, and a sauna, an office, and a lounge area. The house is designed around the living room: to get to the other rooms, the homeowners will have to pass through the "main square".
Each room, including the SPA, master bedroom, and children's rooms, has access to individual terraces. One can access the central outdoor lounge area with a fireplace and a summer kitchen from the living room.
On the site of the house, there is also a guest block with two guest bedrooms; technical rooms, a garage with a staff room, and a workshop.
The project is the winner of the A' Design Award Golden (2020-2021).
